First visit to Proving Grounds and I have to say it’s an absolute awesome site.I loved the set up of the whole day, being able to break when you want with rolling objectives throughout the day so you are always on the move in different areas of the map.Very easy to understand what the next objective is as these are timed and the Marshals keep the gameplay flowing.Overall great site, loved the format of the gameplay and the marshals and fellow players made it a fantastic day.Will definitely be returning soon. – Mark Gray

I’ve played at Proving Grounds on a number of occasions and its an amazing site, we have started using this as our main site and bringing more and more guys to it. The rolling game play is great as there isn’t any long breaks between games which makes the day run smooth.Well done guys keep it up. – Bryan Maddison
The staff have clearly taken time to design their game days from a players perspective. The latitude is unique at Proving Grounds, unlike anywhere I’ve played before, but that’s entirely positive. The game area has been well surveyed, to provide a variety of differing game scenarios which players can follow or cherry pick throughout the course of their open game day. I’ll continue going as the large team numbers make the game days pretty awesome. – Steve Smith

An amazing site run by a fantastic team. Halo Mill provide an almost battlesim style event that has continously rolling objectives that keep the adrenaline running all day. With no fixed breaks means you generally need to carry a lot more kit with you than most sites, but at the same time they don’t force you to participate in every objective. The most important rule on site is that you play the game you want to play. – David Sullivan

Really good day at proving grounds first time there for me my son and team mate Christian we all enjoyed it got better as day progressed even though the numbers dropped in second half. Only gripe really was game play could of been bit better no major issues apart from the mozzies were fookin massive and annoying didn’t get bit once though never do. Awesome day, was my first game in 4-5 years and definitely got me back into it, loved every second. Few issues with rental gun but fixed immediately and replaced, great marshals giving you few hints and tips on capture point location, time, quick change of the hop ect ect, everyone I shot took there hit so can’t complain. End game with fireworks was just crazy something out of a film �� great day if I get invited down again I’d jump at the chance ( I don’t drive so Bradford to the site is a fair journey) – Ethan Dooley

Having visited the site for the very first time on the 6th August, I have to say, it was one of my enjoyable experiences compared to all other woodland sites. The marshals we’re professional and friendly, all the players were taking their hits, you have the flexibility to have a break or lunch whenever you want, the language is a strict certificate 12Aish and the games are very well structured. It’s a shame I didn’t get any action photo-shots during gameplay. Maybe because it’s my own fault for being a well hidden ninja. LOL! But anyway, If you haven’t played @ Halo Mill – Proving Grounds before, I’d recommend you give it a try. It’ll definitely bring a smile on your face.

Came along to my first airsoft weekend at the YPC. Some mates have been going for a year or so and finally my diary fitted. The site is huge, the game full on and non stop. The staffing and marshalling was great and the sportsmanship of the players a refreshing change in cynical times, Site weapon was fine and overall I had a great time. Sunday 4th was my first game at proving grounds and won’t be my last. It was an awesome adrenaline fun filled day used my own gun but when it went wonky (technical term) they gave me a rental and it was as if it had not been used ever couldn’t have asked for a better run day – love the game play when I remembered about the map lol nice and relaxing and awesome all round the RubberDuckys will float there again Oh and shout to the guy who didn’t pepper me in the trench and a thanks to the guy who also shot me in the crotch (the mrs is after) Kind regards ChubbyDuckling – Matthew J Slack

First I feel I need to apologize I don’t know why this has taken me 6 months to do but after today’s game I felt you guys deserved it Honestly this is the best game site I’ve played and I keep going every month it’s awesome down to the staff who run the place to the players who come every month I’ve met so many people here and joined two groups steady they helped me get started and shown me the way(shout out to brotherhood of real steal(Bors) and bowl town cartel) today’s game was the best game I’ve ever played (July 9th) even tho my own gun broke half way through the day it didn’t even damper my mood the day was that good. From the ever changing field (today was like running around a jungle) the marshals rubing the games and the safe zone all spot on can’t fault it If you have not played here yet get on it best day out everThanks again guys see you next month – Luke Scaife
Best place around – not too frequently run to make it boring and different every time! The only slight issue is parking – people who park on the inside of the area get stuck by people who park in front which could be fixed by a few cones and markings. – Adam Woodall
